If you find yourself in the constant toxic cycle of the runner/chaser dynamic with your twin flame, here’s a tip: Stop it! It’s not healthy. It’s not secure attachment. And this is definitely not a couple that is ready for a long lasting and healthy union. How do you break the cycle? Simple:

If you find yourself to be the chaser (most common if you identify as the divine feminine in your connection): Stop chasing them. Stop seeking their attention, validation, communication, etc. Redirect all that energy and put it on yourself. Focus on your dreams, hopes, and desires (that don’t include them). Tend to other areas of your life that likely need some attention. Doing this won’t promise them suddenly stopping running and magical turn around to come to you, but it does bring you peace and relief, therefore opening up the energy to all new possibilities to bring you your heart’s desire, whether that includes them or means someone better coming along.

If you find yourself to be the runner (most common if you identify as the divine masculine): Ask yourself what you’re running away from and why? What fear is driving this action. We don’t run away from things we aren’t scared of. Confront your fear. Seek support from those who would understand. As for the person you’re running away from - communicate clearly to them, even if it’s uncomfortable, rather than ghost. If you need time and space, tell them. Establish boundaries if necessary. Someone who truly loves you will respect those boundaries. If you feel open and ready to hear them out, hear them out. If what they say resonates with you, proceed. If not, continue with boundaries and clear communication about your needs for space. As long as you’re communicating your needs you’re not taking the coward’s way out, running.

When two people can mutually respect each other and be mindful of the others boundaries with ebb and flow, that’s when you start stepping out of this toxic cycle and into a secure place ready for healthy connection and communication.

Especially in times like right now, love for simply our fellow human beings of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds are imperative. You know how the Bible says to love one another as we love ourselves? Isn’t it interesting that so many people who preach that, don’t practice it? The reason is because they can’t love others properly. They can’t because they don’t love themselves. If someone doesn’t love themselves how can they love someone else? Sadly, if someone hates themself, that’s what you will see pour out instead directed towards others. It all starts with ourselves. Today I asked my oracle deck, In My Feels, about the future of TikTok.

1. Has the algorithm changed? It has, but the change is being rolled out slowly as to not make it obvious. Though, I know many of you are very intuitive and intelligent and already see through it.

2. Will the app go away? No, it will not. It will be used as one of the many acts on the vengeance tour. This change will not fully step into place for another 90 days, but it will. When it does it won’t be obvious at first, and also gradual. This is the equivalent of cooking a frog. The water will boil, but won’t most notice until we’re already cooked.

The best thing you can do my friends is stay vigilant, connect with like-hearted people, build community, support, encourage, and uplift one another. Find other spaces. More to come soon. 🩷

1. What do you do?
2. How are you?
3. How’s it going.
Especially #1, what do you do? Not everyone is defined by what they do. For some, this can be interpreted as “what are you worth?” We are human beings, not human doings. For example, the single mom working a 9-5 customer service job may not feel defined by that job if that’s not her passion. Her passion might be her kids. Her passion might be the little Etsy shop she runs as a side gig because she’s talented at making arts and crafts and she enjoys it. Those are likely the things that define her.

Instead trying asking:
1. Working on anything exciting these days?
2. Doing anything exciting recently?
3. What’s your biggest goal right now.
These questions bring about permission for connection. Chances are if someone is not defined by what they do, they will have so many details to tell you in these answers and it will give you real perspective on their life. Going back to that single mom example, chances are she’d tell you about her kids or that little Etsy shop side gig with a sparkle in her eye. If they are passionate about what they do and find definition in it, that’s ok! They’ll probably mention that.

Wanna go deeper? Ask what book, movie, or TV character they are most like. This is the self narrative question that will give you deep perspective on how they see themselves. They likely connect to the character’s values and personality.

This mindset is incredibly powerful. People are going to piss us off. It’s inevitable, whether it’s a total stranger, or our closest friends and family. When frustration arises lots of times it’s because we have lost control of the situation, and in truth there’s so much less in life we have control of in life, than that in which we do. Rather than stew in frustration, exhale and say to yourself, “let them.” This lets them off the hook, gives you a sense of rising above in taking the high road, and a breath of fresh air in terms of relief. This shows you what is within your control and what isn’t and when you spend time and energy on things that are not within your control all it does is bring you stress. This is an extremely powerful boundary.

Most people won’t do this because the results most of the time can leave you feeling rather lonely. This is where the second step of “let them” comes in where we say to ourselves, “let me.” By saying let me, we are taking ownership for our own needs and making ourselves a priority by caring for ourselves in ways others may not. But who knows us better than ourselves right? So you will know exactly how to care for yourself in that moment. This is an opportunity to take your power back.

If you are in serious danger and clearly dealing with abuse, do not engage, but do not just let them take advantage of you either. Stay safe and put distance between you and the other person as soon and as safely as possible.
